94 ford taurus SHO trouble...?

I was driving last night and my car suddenly just rev-ed and didn't go into gear anymore. No Drive, No reverse nor 1 0r 2nd. The next morning I started the car up and it went in reverse and drove about 100 feet then it did it again just rev-ed up and could move anymore I put some transmission Fluid in it waited a couple of minutes the tried it again did it again just rev-ed and didn't move can anyone help me I don't know what it is and really need to know. so I know where to bring it to get it fixed or even if its worth getting fixed if you know what I mean....
