Is computer programming innate ability?

From my observation, I would have say you cannot teach yourself to be a good programmer. You had to be born as one. Of course, there are easer language that are called "interpreted language". Such as Unix shell scripting which I liked and was good at, but there aren't that much jobs for Unix shell scrpting unless you have enough experience to be an Admin. If you are in the field doing programming or coding, what's your say on my question?
