How do i ( an Iraqi living in Iraq ) apply for study in the US ?

Hi all i'm an Iraqi student of English literature in the college of Baghdad , and i dream of travelling to USA to take high studies and may be live there afterwards in the country of freedom , technology conviniences , civilized life and mostly nice weather , and leave this hellhole called Baghdad ( i'm patriotic but it's really no way of good life here specially under the current conditions ) i have the best grades in my cl , and the teachers in here consider me a very special talented student , but i have absolutely no idea how to begin applying for study and i would like u guys to give me some kind of a guide or a site on the internet where i can just send a request for invitation to the USA for study , and thank u in advance .
