Why is Queen Beatrix in the British line of succession + hypotethical situation?

She is a very distant relation of Queen Elizabeth. If all those other people died and she became Queen I don't know what would happen really. Perhaps she would continue to rule the Netherlands and one of her children would come here to rule Britain, or something like that. It would be an awkward situation.
