Do parents really love their kids the same and unconditionally?

Do not say, "I hate what they do, not them." It's their choice to do, so it's therefore them. My mom said she loves me and my druggie brother the same, even though he's stolen from her for the past 11 years. I don't think it's possible. You cannot love someone unconditionally just because of flesh and blood....that only goes so far.
