What do these to songs mean..?

Hi. I read both sets of lyrics and from the first one, to me it seems that the person is telling him/her that no matter what, they will be there for them no matter what is going on in their life or what's wrong with them. In the second set, the person can't seem to catch a break in life so they figure, why not just end it and that will be my lucky break? These are some very deep lyrics I might add and if I'm wrong, I do apologize but I think I'm going to look in it some more!! You have sparked an interest in me!!
